The Warriors defeated the Suns, 116-113, on Monday night in Golden State. Stephen Curry contributed a team-high 34 points to go with 7 assists, 6 rebounds and 5 three-pointers, with Brandin Podziemski adding 20 points on 7-of-15 shooting.

Devin Booker finished with a team-high 26 points along with 5 assists for the Suns in the losing effort. The Warriors improved their record to 5-3 with the win, while the Suns fell to 1-4 for the season.

The game stayed tight into the final minutes, with neither side able to open a comfortable lead. Curry's late shot-making, as so often in Golden State, proved the difference in a game that could have gone either way.

For the Warriors, the win continues a solid early-season start built around Curry's scoring and Podziemski's growing role. Golden State's depth has been tested by injuries, but the core's ability to close games remains intact.

Phoenix, at 1-4, faces early questions about its slow start. Booker's scoring has been steady, but the Suns have yet to turn individual performances into wins — and the schedule offers little relief in the coming week.
