Verification

We check stories against reporting from established outlets and primary sources before publishing, and we do not publish fabricated or unverified viral claims as fact. When a claim comes from a single person — for example, a family member's belief about a motive — we attribute it to that person rather than stating it as established fact.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we correct the article promptly and note the correction in the article. Readers can flag an error by messaging Orbit News Network on Facebook, X, or Instagram.

Opinion

Opinion pieces are labeled and appear in the site's "My Thoughts" section. They reflect the author's views, not straight news reporting, and they still appear alongside the day's news coverage.

Photos

Articles use real photos only — no AI-generated images. Photos are freely licensed images, Orbit-owned material, or file photos clearly captioned as such when the photo is not of the exact subject of the story.

Sources

Articles summarize reporting in our own words and cite their sources. We do not republish full article text from other outlets.
