Kevin Durant recorded 14 points, four assists and three blocks as the Houston Rockets beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 119-98 on Saturday.

Marcus Smart put up 24 points for Houston in the win, giving the Rockets a second scoring punch alongside Durant's all-around game.

Oklahoma City's Aday Mara had seven points, nine rebounds and four blocks in the loss, as the Thunder were unable to keep pace with Houston's attack.

The Rockets will now go on to face the Minnesota Timberwolves at home, while the Thunder will face the Portland Trail Blazers on the road.

The result came on the first weekend of November as the NBA season settles into its early rhythm — and as Houston continues to build around its veteran star.
