Disney+'s fantasy romance series The Remarried Empress launched its first four episodes early on November 3, 2026, ahead of its original November 4 date.

Disney+ and Hulu announced the early premiere only two days before, according to The Hollywood Reporter as cited by mxdwn, a last-minute move that signaled confidence in the show's early buzz.

The South Korean series is based on a Naver Webtoon, combining romantic tragedy with medieval-style settings and court intrigue.

Its trailer drew 13 million views on YouTube and social media within 48 hours, and it had a sold-out preview screening at the Busan International Film Festival in October.

The early launch gives the series a head start on the week's streaming conversation, with the remaining episodes set to roll out on the platform's regular schedule.
