Google AI Plus, the cheapest of Google's AI plans, stops offering Pro models in the Gemini app and in AI Mode in Search from November 13, 2026, according to Android Authority reporting cited in the October 31 roundup.

The date comes from Google's emails to subscribers, marking a downgrade for the entry-level AI tier.

In telecom news the same week, Verizon unveiled a significant AI infrastructure partnership with Amazon Web Services alongside its Q3 2026 results, signing a commercial framework agreement valued at more than $2 billion.

Verizon also reported substantial postpaid subscriber growth and upwardly revised guidance for its full-year 2026 results, according to Telco Magazine.

The moves show both the cost pressures in consumer AI tiers and the scale of enterprise AI infrastructure spending.
