AMD Posts Record Quarter as Data-Center Sales Nearly Double
Revenue rose 45 percent to $13.38 billion, beating estimates, as data-center revenue jumped 97 percent to a record $8.55 billion on AI demand.

Advanced Micro Devices reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $13.38 billion on November 3, up 45 percent year over year and above the $13.09 billion analyst estimate, Reuters reported.
Data-center revenue jumped 97 percent to a record $8.55 billion, above the $8.20 billion estimate, as demand for AI workloads drove sales of the company's accelerators and processors.
Adjusted profit was $2.09 per share, against $1.95 expected. Client and gaming revenue fell 8 percent to $3.72 billion, a softer spot in an otherwise record quarter.
AMD forecast fourth-quarter revenue of about $17 billion, plus or minus 3 percent, above the $16.23 billion average estimate. Chief Executive Lisa Su described it as a record quarter, with data-center demand driven by AI workloads.
The result lands in a week when investors are scrutinizing Big Tech AI spending for returns, and AMD's data-center acceleration stands in contrast to the broader market's nervousness about the AI trade.
