ANTHROPIC'S IPO FILING REVEALS 1,368% REVENUE SURGE — AND A HALF-TRILLION SPENDING BILL
Anthropic filed for an IPO this week, and its prospectus gave a clearer view of the AI company's growth — eye-popping revenue growth paired with spending commitments of more than half a trillion dollars.

Anthropic filed for an IPO this week, and its prospectus gave a clearer view of the AI company's growth trajectory, revealing eye-popping revenue growth of 1,368% year-on-year in the second quarter, Reuters reported October 30.
The company is expected to make its market debut before Thanksgiving, pressing ahead despite growing investor unease.
The loss-making AI company also disclosed spending commitments of more than half a trillion dollars in the years ahead as it scrambles to secure computing power.
The filing landed in a week when cash burn re-emerged as a major theme in Big Tech earnings, with investors focused on whether AI spending is outpacing hyperscalers' cash generation.
Alphabet's shares fell more than 12% on Thursday after it reported negative free cash flow for the second consecutive quarter, and Amazon reported trailing 12-month cash burn had reached $42.4 billion in the third quarter as capital expenditure soared.
